The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is a non-profit organization seeking to create networking and professional development opportunities to better represent minorities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). The SHPE National Convention on October 30-November 3 brings companies and professionals from around the country to network with student attendees. As a nonprofit organization, we have limited funds and resources to use throughout the academic year, and we require your support to reach new levels of success.
The Arizona State University student chapter, SHPE de ASU, hopes you will donate to ensure our members have an opportunity to attend the convention and have a great experience representing ASU. All donations will go towards helping support and sponsor our members who may not otherwise be able to attend. Your generosity will go a long way in contributing to each of our member’s path to success. We ask you to consider joining SHPE de ASU in molding an ambitious, diverse workforce so that we may become the next leaders of your industry.
We look forward to having you as a donating ambassador and joining our familia!
SHPE de ASU formed back in 1982 and is celebrating 37 years of supporting Hispanics in STEM.
Last year we brought 40 students, and this year we're aiming higher! This opportunity represents the number of students we hope attend the National Convention.
This donation completely covers the registration for one student to attend the National Convention.
