Support the ILP: Student Scholarships, Professional Development, and Innovative Programs
Last year the Indian Legal Program (ILP) celebrated 30 years. We were amazed by the support YOU provided. Because of YOU, we were able to give more scholarships and opportunities to our students. Last year, 135 alumni, faculty, students and community members came together to celebrate the ILP’s history.
This year, we are asking at least 150 alumni and friends of the ILP to make a gift between October 14- November 15th. A gift of any size will help us achieve our goal - all gifts matter, no matter the amount!
Together, we create a stronger community.
By giving to this campaign, YOU will directly make a difference in the ILP’s ability to provide scholarships, professional development, service opportunities, and much more to the next generation of Indian law attorneys and advocates.
YOUR support impacts students and makes a difference in Indian Country.
The ILP provides legal education and trains students to effectively engage the representation of Native peoples and seeks to promote an understanding of the differences between the legal systems of Indian Nations and those of the state and federal governments.
Today, the Indian Legal Program has become one of the best in the nation at a top 8 public law school and #27 best law school by U.S. News & World Report.
Graduates of the ILP are working at all levels of tribal, state and federal government, as well as in private practice and nonprofits.
Goals of the ILP:
