Last year the Sun Devil Family Association received hundreds of applications for 64 scholarships- impacting 64 lives. This year we are working to do more. Each $5,000 scholarship will change the life of one Sun Devil.
The SDFA Scholarship
There is a tremendous need among high financial need students that the Sun Devil Family Association serves each year. Many students who apply for our scholarships are working multiple jobs, and may face additional and unique challenges such as: health issues, responsibility for the care of family members, lack of an emotional support system or/or may be the first in their family to go to college. The Sun Devil Family Association Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, evidence of academic success, and a strong commitment to community service and/or university involvement. Beyond relieving the financial burdens of college expenses, our scholarships provide recipients with a support system from the SDFA, their fellow scholars, and alums of the scholarship program. Recipients discover a second family through community service activities and association-sponsored social events. In- and out-of-state undergraduate students are eligible to apply. T

Since the inception of the Sun Devil Family Association in 1984, 780 Sun Devils have had their life changed by SDFA Scholarships
$2,500 could cover one semester of the SDFA scholarship for a hard-working, high-achieving student
