BULA! (Hello)
We are a group of diverse ASU students and faculty experiencing and participating in the field of Global Health through travel to Fiji. Upon our arrival to Votua Village, we were welcomed into their homes and their hearts. They insisted in offering us to sleep in their beds and made meals for us. We in-turn helped with farming and participated in cultural activities. It was a wonderful exchange of international cultures, ideals, and laughter. Upon our return home, we decided to channel our experience into action. We are trying to bring awareness of health issues in Fiji. This is not limited to medical supplies. The people of the Votua Village in Fiji are warm loving and caring. We would like to provide the village with first- aid supplies, crutches, diapers, feminine products, soap, toilet paper and other basic necessities.
By supporting our campaign, you can be involved in improving the quality of life for many Fijians; and strengthen the community between ASU and Votua Village.
Make your charitable donation TODAY! Vinaka (Thank you)
The people of Votua Village love Rugby. Rugby balls encourage healthy, active lifestyles, improving social, mental, and physical health of the Fijian.
The local hospital only has 4 pairs of crutches for the entire island and this gift amount could double their quantity.
Become a Community Chief by supporting each village member with $1.
