Pat Tillman is celebrated for his service and sacrifice for our country. Like Pat, many other Sun Devils have joined the Armed Forces and fought bravely and sacrificed for our country.
There are 133 Sun Devils who deserve to be remembered in a respectful, honorable way. This memorial wall provides a place for generations of ASU students, staff, and family members to pay their respects. The Memorial Wall is designed to be a long-lasting reminder to the ASU community of fallen military personnel who have walked the halls of ASU before them. The Veterans Chapter of the ASAAA has identified the names of 133 men and women to include on the ASU Memorial for the Fallen, which will be located near the Pat Tillman Center in the Memorial Union on ASU’s Tempe Campus.
As many of you may know, the Veterans ASU Alumni Chapter has been working for several years to honor the ASU men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country during times of conflict. To commemorate their legacy, each service member will be honored in the Memorial Union on the ASU Veterans Memorial Wall. To date nearly all the funds needed for this project have been raised by the Veterans Alumni chapter or committed by the University and we are asking for your help in raising the last bit needed for this memorial to be installed this Fall. All are invited to join us at the dedication this November.
The ASU Alumni Association Veterans Chapter is a special interest section of the ASU Alumni Association. We need your help to ensure that these fallen Sun Devils can be recognized for their commitment to our country and community.
