In Puerto Penasco, each family has an average of 4.2 family members. With 58 homes built per year, 244 people a year are provided safety, security and the ability to keep the family together!

So you don't have to do the math, that's 19,425 homes that have been built through AMOR missions since 1980 primarily in Mexico, South Africa and San Carlos Apache reservation. Amor is currently expanding to Fiji, Kenya and other regions.

Ice bags used per month

Each building team uses a minimum of 4 bags of ice per day for lunches and drinks, average 6 teams. In addition, the La Cocina uses 150 bags per month for refrigeration.

This will allow the preservation of perishable cooking supplies without the need of an ice chest. This will save the La Cocina approximately 500 bags of ice per year. Stove - Heart of the La Cocina

This donation represents the heart of the La Cocina project. From this stove will come amazing home-made tortillas, refried beans, quesadillas, omelets, Posole and leche con arroz to name a few. The stove will be similar to: Cooking Performance Group S60-GS24-N Natural Gas 6 Burner 60 inch Range with 24 inch Griddle/Broiler and 2 Standard Ovens - 276,000 BTU
