Support Legislative Efforts and Research on Water

The Earth is literally drenched in water. However, conversations about the resource often center around scarcity, vulnerability, and risk. While it's true that getting water to the right place at the right time with adequate quality can be a challenge, we still see a bright future.

Kyl Center for Water Policy: ASU's Kyl Center for Water Policy is working with parties and communities to develop strategies for resolving the need for water policy reform, which is a pre-requisite to water supply planning and investment for the future.

The Arizona Water Certainty Project: The Arizona Water Certainty Project is an effort to raise awareness of the need for water policy reform in certain areas of the state that impacted by a prolonged legal proceeding over water rights.

Water from the Heavens, The Origins of Earths HydrogenWater from the Heavens, The Origins of Earth's Hydrogen project seeks to answer the fundamental question of where water on Earth originally came from. Your support provides the ability to experiment and measure how hydrogen behaved among the metallic elements in the core and mantle of the early Earth.

Kyl Center for Water Policy: WaterSim America is part of the Smithsonian Institution’s “Water/Ways” exhibition.  The WaterSim interactive model was designed to help decision-makers and learners of all ages understand how water sustainability is influenced by factors such as regional growth, drought, climate change, and water management policies. This exhibit will tour rural museums in 180 communities across 30 states and is coming to Arizona in May 2018!  Your support will help communities across the country explore new approaches to water sustainability.

Future H2O: Future H2O is working to be sure we have abundant water to feed and power sustainable communities. Our goal is to create opportunity for change at scale in regional, national and global water systems and envision wiser design principles, new data and algorithms for better water governance and business outcomes, and scalable, nature-inspired technologies. With your support, we will become nimbler in the face of a changing climate and rise to the challenge of water security.
