At Arizona State University, we understand that suicide is a preventable health issue. Many people experiencing suicidal thoughts show warning signs. Our goal is to ensure that ASU’s students can recognize and act on these signs.
You can help us protect ASU students’ safety and well-being.
ASU’s safeTALK trains students and staff to recognize and respond to invitations for help. Participants practice open and direct conversations about suicide and build confidence in connecting someone to further care and support.
It only takes $35 to train one student to recognize and respond if a friend has suicidal thoughts.
We have trained 1,369 people through safeTALK since Fall 2021 and continue to train 300-400 people every year. Your generosity helps make it happen.
Your gift today can save a life.
Suicide can be prevented. Please join us today in ensuring that no ASU student experiences a mental health crisis alone.
