What's a 'Kuroiler'?
Kuroilers are derived from crossing several pure genetic lines of chickens. They are roughly double the size of native birds, providing much more meat. They are more resistant to diseases because they are vaccinated. They are high-performance backyard foragers, flourishing on household left-overs. And they lay more eggs. A lot more eggs.

Kuroiler flocks typically deliver a three-fold increase in chicken-related income in an average year. Improved family nutrition will reduce the negative impact of malnutrition on child development, strengthen immunity and reduce the incidence of infectious and non-infectious diseases.
