I was about to be evicted, with no money and halfway through the semester - with midterms/finals looming and lots of studying and homework to be done. I was so worried about my finances that I thought my only option was to drop out of school and start working full-time.
I had no idea what to do.
They gave me enough funds to find a new place to live and a big enough cushion that I was able to stay in school! It kept me on pace to finish school and get my degree.
I am so thankful - I wouldn't have my degree without the emergency scholarship.
