While the young children at the CDL are dreaming of toys and treats from Santa this holiday season, CDL’s student educators are dreaming of their futures as teachers, early development psychologists, and family counselors. Their gratitude for the Child Development Lab runs deep, from freshman students just starting out to professionals making a difference in their communities.
Together, we can help the next generation of early childhood professionals gain experience and be prepared to make their mark out in the world. And it starts with their time at the CDL.
Your contributions so far support students for two months of growth, learning, and educating our young children. Thank you!
One of the greatest gifts children of the CDL receive is the opportunity to learn from and interact with a wide array of college students pursuing passions in teaching, research, social work, and more. These interests allow them to engage with the children in different, meaningful ways, giving them a greater understanding of the world around them.
Meet Sofia, a sophomore psychology major at ASU. After graduation, Sofia hopes to become a school counselor or work in clinical psychology research. Her role at CDL gives her valuable insight into child psychology, which will support her in either field she chooses to pursue.
I love working at the CDL because I'm always learning. I also love getting to know the kids. - Sofia, ASU student
Your generous donation helps students like Sofia achieve her goals and work in a fun learning environment. Thank you!
