Researchers in ASU’s Sustainable Water Initiative conduct climate and water research, as well as research into decision-making. But they don’t stop there. They also develop tools to help decision makers put that knowledge into action.

As a part of the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability (GIOS), the initiative draws on scientific expertise from across the university. GIOS emphasizes in urban environments, using the Valley of the Sun as a laboratory where solutions to water, energy, transportation and livability are tested and applied to urbanized areas around the world.
