Sports Business Scholars

We are a student organization comprised of twenty elite ASU students studying sports business, with plans to pursue a career in the sports industry.  Selected through a competitive application process, we are proud leaders on campus with extensive internship experience.  Our biweekly meeting schedule includes career development, consulting projects with the Arizona Cardinals, local speakers, and executive mentorship.    

Outreach Trip

We are so fortunate to attend an annual outreach trip every year, where we spend three days being inspired by sports business executives, gaining insight into sports career paths, experiencing the corporate culture of different companies, and networking with alums.  It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to learn from the best and brightest in the industry.  This year we are heading to San Francisco December 15-18 with plans to visit Twitter, Google, Golden State Warriors, Facebook, EA Sports, PlayStation, 49ers, San Francisco Giants, Pac-12, and more.  The trip will cost $500+ per student so we need your support. 

With your help, 19 Sports Business Scholars will be heading to San Francisco this December on a trip that they will never forget!

“The Sports Business Scholars program provided me with the tools and experiences necessary for illustrating a positive pathway toward a career in sports and entertainment. Attending the outreach trips was probably the single most valuable experience of my undergraduate career, as I was able to set foot in venues and companies that I otherwise would have never been able to.  When engaging with these companies, I learned how to conduct myself in the informational sessions, ask meaningful questions that relate directly to the interviewee’s role/industry, applying myself to send concise and meaningful follow ups, and how to generate long-lasting relationships with the various professionals that you meet. I met lifelong friends that I still keep in contact with today, and will always keep those memories and experiences close to my heart.”
