Dr. Matthew W. Witczakis a pioneer and leader in the civil engineering community and an internationally known expert in the area of transportation pavement systems. Dr. Witczak dedicated his career to the advancement of pavement engineering and research as well as student education, mentoring, and professional development of engineers and leaders in the field.
The Dr. Matthew W. Witczak Endowment was created by the Arizona Pavements/Materials Conference Committee to honor the impact Dr. Witczak has made in the industry and inspire students entering the profession. The endowment provides a permanent source of philanthropic funds to support students interested in a career in pavement materials.
