I am happy to share we are on the final stretch for endowing Jose Náñez Memorial Scholarship. 

Sincere thanks to the Náñez family and 45+ donors who have made a tremendous impact in establishing the scholarship. With your generous contributions, there's only a little more than $1,000 left to be raised to accomplish our $25,000 endowment goal. 

This scholarship will forever honor the legacy of President's Professor Jose Náñez, a fearless advocate for Latino and underrepresented students, a tireless researcher, and a beloved professor throughout his 30 years at ASU.

We are happy to announce that we accomplished our first goal of raising $10,000 and met the matching gift challenge. With the matching gift of $10,000, the total amount we raised is $20,320 as of today! 

Now, our final goal is to meet $25,000 to endow Jose Náñez Memorial Scholarship to honor his legacy forever.
