The ASU Wind Symphony, led by Dr. Jamal Duncan has been selected to perform at the College Band Directors National Association - Western/Northwestern Division Conference in Las Vegas, NV in March 2024. Chosen through peer review, the Wind Symphony is one of only eight ensembles invited to present a concert. This is the first time that the Wind Symphony has been chosen for an honor such as this. This extraordinary opportunity will not only elevate our students' musicianship but also shine a spotlight on the exceptional teaching and artistry of our faculty at ASU.
In the spirit of not burdening the ensemble members with financing the entire trip, we are seeking donations to cover the expenses associated with this opportunity, including travel and accommodations. The Wind Symphony numbers around 70 musicians who represent the next generation of performers, music teachers, music therapists, as well as engineers and scientists. Your contribution, no matter how small or large, will make a significant impact in helping us meet our fundraising goal and making this unforgettable experience possible.
By supporting the ASU Wind Symphony, you are not only investing in the future of music education but also in the cultural enrichment of our students. Your support will not only empower our students but also enable the ASU Wind Symphony to be ambassadors of goodwill, sharing the rich musical history of our school with those who attend the conference.
Please consider contributing to this exciting endeavor!
No donation is too small. Any amount helps get us one step closer to our goals.
Covers the entire trip for ONE STUDENT including transportation, lodging, and food expenses!
