What is CultureFest?

AAPASC CultureFest is our signature event of the year on April 12th, compromising of headlining artists from across the country, member organization performances, food trucks, and so much more. CultureFest aims to amplify AAPI voices and provide a space for AAPI artists and performance groups to showcase their talents.

In the past year, AAPASC has held community-wide events meant to foster the growing presence of AAPI students at Arizona State University. In Fall, we hosted a gender-inclusive showcase highlighting AAPI students from our member organizations. In the Spring, we hosted the first Asian/Asian Pacific Islander American Outdoor Festival in the university's history in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. AAPASC serves as the voice for underrepresented AAPI students at ASU and a direct connection to outside organizations and ASU faculty.

This festival welcomes all ASU and non-ASU students in celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month through bringing the community together with live performances and food! Last year, the festival had rising stars Thuy, Tiffany Day, Hojean and Jae Luna headline, and Hojean performed at 88rising's Head in the Clouds Music Festival a few months after.
