With 76 years of changemaking on our backs, we are the past, present, and future leaders of the nonprofit sector. The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Student Association (NLASA) is dedicated to strengthening the nonprofit sector with a talented and prepared workforce through development opportunities, like this annual campaign. By accepting a call from one of our students and donating, you not only invest in our goal to create our world, only better, but allow us to gain confidence in fundraising literacy.
Our Campaign
This year, our 45th cohort of 6 students aspires to attend the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) LEAD conference in St. Louis, Missouri. We will hear from experts, academics, and community leaders about how to enhance leadership skills to make an impact on our communities. AFP LEAD acts as an incredible professional growth opportunity to develop our 10 Core Competencies of effective leadership and management through workshops, spark talks, guest speakers, and focus groups.
Changing the Future, Now
As future Certified Nonprofit Professionals (CNPs), we are all working towards a common goal: to make the world a better place. Though the CNP title is still ahead of us, we are actively shaping the future today through our learning, our experiences, and our commitment to impact. The work we are doing now is laying the foundation for the change we will drive tomorrow, and we believe that the future is built in the present. By investing in us, you are changing the future, now.
You Inspire Us
YOU, our community of alumni, mentors, teachers, and family, have served as lodestars in our journey to change the world. You inspire us to follow in your footsteps and leave legacies of our own. We ask you to think of those who have invested in your journey and, in their honor, invest in us. We need you.
The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Student Association (NLASA) - formerly known as American Humanics - is a group of students driven to make an impact in their communities seeking to receive the nationally recognized Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential. Because of lodestars like you the NLASA, continues to inspire and enable leaders like “Me”.

The Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential is the preferred national certification for those entering the social sector. $100 covers the credentialing fee for one future nonprofit professional, $200 will allow 2 students to further their professional development!
