Sana Tsourides is this year’s recipient of the ASU Alumni Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter Scholarship. Originally from Texas, Sana is excited to begin a new chapter of her life in Arizona studying business management.
“As an out-of-state student, this scholarship will allow me to focus on my studies without the constant worries of financial constraints,” Sana said.
While at ASU, Sana hopes to graduate from Barrett, The Honors College with a 4.0 GPA and enter the private equity field, eventually working for a large firm. Sana aspires to earn her MBA and advance her career in this industry.
“I chose to attend Arizona State University because of its amazing business program…Additionally, the welcoming culture and beautiful campus made ASU the perfect place for me to start this new chapter in my life,” she said.
ASU’s versatile and diverse community was another reason why Sana was drawn to the university, and she is excited to be surrounded by people who will inspire and challenge her.
“As someone who is half Asian and half Middle Eastern, I have a unique cultural background that allows me to bring a distinctive perspective to my studies,” Sana said.
In her free time, Sana enjoys reading, cooking with friends and family and attending Pilates classes. This year, she is most looking forward to experiencing the high-stakes competition between ASU and U of A, Homecoming Weekend and sorority formals.
