Olivia Fakhry is a first-year student from New Jersey studying dance and psychology at ASU. Enrolled in Barrett, The Honors College, Olivia is excited to make connections and experience being a part of a large student community on the Tempe campus.
Olivia decided to attend ASU because of its highly-ranked dance program and is ready to take multiple classes in different areas of study.
“I am so grateful for this scholarship and the support that Arizona State University, specifically the Alumni Association, has granted me,” Olivia said. “I am so lucky to have the opportunity to be able to follow my dreams as a dancer and get an incredible education all at an affordable price for my family.”
In her free time, Olivia enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to live music, writing poetry and singing.
