Sierra Watson, first-year ASU student studying sports journalism, is this year’s recipient of the ASU Alumni Houston Chapter Scholarship.
Choosing ASU for the hands-on learning experiences and student programs, Sierra is excited for the future internship and networking opportunities offered to Sun Devil learners.
“I am most looking forward to meeting new people and continuing my career to do what I love,” Sierra said.
After graduation, Sierra aspires to work in sports media and public relations.
“I have been involved in sports photography for three years with my high school, so I am very excited to experience it on a professional level,” she said.
This year, Sierra is most looking forward to meeting new friends and classmates. In her free time, she enjoys photography, hiking, listening to music and spending time with friends.
