What is K.Sam Farms?
K.Sam Farms is a nonprofit organization whose vision is to produce and sell organic foods to assist these brilliant but less privileged students. K.Sam Farms was founded by six Arizona State University students who received 4 year scholarships from the MasterCard Foundation. They believe that education is the key to success and every child deserves to have the same opportunity to go to school. By creating a sustainable farm project in the community they hope to ensure that more students will be enrolled in a quality education.
Why do you need donor support?
K.Sam Farms already has 10 acres of land and a strong group of volunteers that are ready to start growing crops. With your support, we will be able to gain the materials necessary to begin this process and help the less privileged students of Gomoa Dago.
A gift of this amount represents one dollar for each student finishing their basic education this year in Gomoa Dago.
A gift of this amount could pay for the land preparation to grow 4 acres of crops.
A gift of this amount could cover the cost of the maize seed for a whole year's harvest.
