ABOUT US.
We promote social entrepreneurship through projects that directly improve the lives of underprivileged people. Students collaborate with faculty, international universities, residents of rural villages, local governments, financial institutions, and non-governmental organizations, to design projects that focus on implementing innovative technological solutions to alleviate socio-economic issues (poverty, hunger, sanitation, and inadequate access to potable water, etc). The Club aims to bring together people of a variety of disciplines, to create a community that will increase the quality of these service projects.
OUR JOURNEY.
Over the last two years we've partnered with an orphanage in Cuzco, Peru to build both a green house and an aquaponics system with the goal of ensuring food security for the children at the orphanage. In addition to these projects, we also serve as role models to inspire the children to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by way of educational activities. Through our relationship with the orphanage, they have identified more needs that must be addressed to better improve the living standards of the children. After numerous brainstorming sessions, our group came up with an eco-friendly and sustainable project to build a wind turbine and solar panels to provide energy to the orphanage.
A gift of this amount could cover the cost of one solar panel and one wind turbine
